What becomes of a donated heart? A heart can ache - so painfully from an emotional upset. The pain is real - deep - life shaking. So when such a heart is donated - that has felt such pain - is there a dent - a scare? Or was the pain more like a bruise? That heals... I think not - I have known pain so deep that is has to have left a mark -a piercing pain - that goes all the way through - leaves a whole - a piercing. Sure I have had plenty of dents - bumps - dings - So a donated heart - that has known such pains - would it feel hurt deeper - beating a wounded heart - as it is already pierced? Could another heart ache be the last - the one that says enough? No more... no more..Is it always damaged. If a heart can ache so deeply it has to leave a livelong mark. It just has too.

Today's 8 hours seemed to be more like 3. Time spilled out of my hands like sand in my open fingers. Spilling to my feet, covering them completely...Weighing me down...so much to get finished, unable to find my way to the surface. So many people expecting more, my best - nothing less. Now - that I am home I want it faster, faster...the clock hands are barely moving...its more like honey - slipping slowly, working ever so gently past my fingers, hanging on...barely dripping. now that I want my honey home from work...Time has stopped!

Soulmate
Wikipedia,
Soulmate (or soul mate) is a term sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, friendship, love, intimacy, sexuality, and/or compatibility.
A related concept is that of the twin flame or twin soul – thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of one's soul, for which all souls are driven to find and join.
However, not everyone who uses these terms intends them to carry such mystical connotations; they are sometimes used simply as an expression of strong emotional feeling for someone.
Definitions
Classical – Greek mythology – Originally humans were combined of 4 arms, 4 legs, and a single head made of 2 faces, but Zeus feared their power and split them all in half, condemning them to spending their lives searching for the other half to complete them. This theory was presented as a half-serious story by Aristophanes in Plato's Symposium, after all the participants at the Symposium ("drinking party") were charged to philosophize on the topic of love.
Spiritual and religious – concepts of reincarnation and karma. Soulmates have spent many previous lifetimes together.
Companion soulmate – People with whom one has made a connection
Twin soulmates – Very close friends with whom one has strong bonds.
Twin flame soulmate – A popular romantic belief that there is only one true soulmate.
Scientific soulmate – (If) a relationship can be quantified, and scored according to an internal happiness scale. A scientific soulmate is the person with whom you are the absolute happiest. You would therefore be less happy with any other person in existence.
Balance Partners and Messengers – The people you meet along the way who help you create balance in your life.
Divine Complement – A new colloquialism for a 'match made in heaven', a twin soul, who holds inborn potentials that match and complement one's own and and who is linked eternally through a signature in the heart at the dimension of the spirit.

"Plato wrote in his Symposium that humans have been looking for their soul mate ever since Zeus cut them in half. In his mythic story, Plato describes a world where there were men, women and people who were both men and women. Apparently, humans began discussing how they could climb up to heaven and replace the gods. The gods were upset by this and discussed what should be done. The simplest solution would be to destroy mankind, but Zeus came up with a better idea. He suggested cutting all human beings in half. This would serve two purposes. First, it would immediately double the number of people making offerings to the gods. Second, it would weaken the humans, so they would not be able to carry out their plan. Zeus' idea was accepted, and the humans were all divided into two. Naturally, the humans were upset at this, and Zeus decided to enable each half to have intercourse with their opposite , symbolically creating a whole. Consequently, the males sought other males, the females other females, and the people who had been both male and female sought their other half, allowing population to reproduce."1
New Age concept of soulmate
There is a prevalent concept in some segments of the New Age movement that some souls are literally made and/or fated to be the mates of each other, or to play certain other important roles in each others' lives. These souls are thought to have created something in a past life and they have chosen this lifetime to help each other "heal." Following this concept, one can have many soulmates. For example: One could see another person they have never met in this lifetime and instantly hate or love them because of previous interaction(s) with the other in one or more previous lifetimes. The most popular use of this concept is in applying it to those who were loved intimately in other lifetimes which were then found in this one.
Also, being conscious of the "soul mate connection" is not necessary, according to this idea.
Soulmate Emotional Destruction Theory
Ultimately the consequence of this notion is the unfortunate reality that soulmates often possess the ability to inflict serious emotional injury unto their twin flame, greater than any other being could. This often results in the separation of idealized love, due to the severe emotional impact. Many soulmates are destined for an eternal search, not for lack of meeting, but rather lack of acceptance. The encounter is often analogous to the collision of matter and antimatter, a violent explosive reaction will occur, but if held through to completion only pure energy, and thus harmony, will result. Unfortunately few encounters are held through to completion.

"This is my thoughts on True Love and a broken heart...
True love - complete once in a life love -A SOULMATE - is experienced by only few. For good reason - for BOTH people to feel this - heart stopping - take your breath away - transforming love , can ruin your life if not experienced by both parties... I belive it is a rare thing for two humans to meet their true soul mate. The kind of love that makes one miserable - if the other is not present, or is hurting, or gone. Soul mates - the kind of love that makes the first one to die miserable to be in Heaven without the other. Who could be miserable in Heaven? If I didn't explain this good enough rent "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams. He dies and go to heaven. His SOUL mate is so miserable without him she can not go on....and he is miserable in HEAVEN for christ's sake! In HEAVEN! It is so beautiful there like Paradise - A MONET painting. He's miserable - with out her - his heartaches...he can't go on.
It is a thing claimed by many, but few have truly suffered a completely broken, shattered heart. Lost love is an everyday occurance. A broken heart heals.
Most often the sufferer has only a minor fracture, a dent or bruise that can be healed by comfort and the compassion of others around them. They will survive. Completely able to heal and to love and trust once again.
But a completely broken heart, a lost soulmate... this broken heart can never be fully healed. Never will it totally be capable to love completely again. Life seems to stop without the other. Nothing can replace this void.
NOTHING.
Many have suffered dents, or bruises to the heart – but few have suffered the true love that causes the heart to shatter into a million little pieces if one of the souls love is lost... it leaves a void, an
emptiness. Some come close but instead suffer merely a simple piercing. A battered heart can love again. The wounds heals but the hurt stays – pierced, simply- a constant reminder of the pain, and hurt. Some love the pain - some associate pain as a part of love. Some try to duplicate this pain into their lives. They actually self- inflict this pain on themselves and their partners - trying to duplicate the bliss that is only possible with a soul mate - the ecstasy of Soulmate love.
This is still completely different than the shattered heart. The love of a lost soulmate. All the pieces can never be put back together. The only hope is to grab as many pieces as possible as they shatter. Hoping you can hang on. Have some type of life after the tragedy of a lost soulmate. Waiting for the deep aching to stop, the slow heartbeat to return and to feel as close to normal once again. Slow and unsteady. Knowing it will never be whole again. It can never be what it once was.
A memory of the wretched day when the heart shattered will be branded on every shard, like a tattoo on a body, everlasting and this alone is the creator of pain and suffering a person feels when their heart has been broken. By death, betrayal - loss -
A broken, shattered heart due to a betrayal is the worst of all, as it is an act you cannot save yourself from and it carves the memory in so deep … The feeling My heart is lost – it does not beat inside me. It has been ripped out – torn from my body.
There is a large emptiness – it hurts deep, to the bone. Mutilated, ruined, destroyed. There is no lost and found. It is gone. Forever...
Just remember - FEW are prepared for true love - finding their true soul mate. Few are lucky enough to experience this heart stopping experience.
Really I don't know if it is LUCK - or LUCKY - maybe it is not even healthy. FEW can make it through...
I won’t let this pull me down.
Don’t fix me – I an not broken. My heart maybe dented, bruised, beaten, piercied - but not shattered - it is wrapped in barbed wire - I won't let it shatter - it came close once - never again - so SOULMATE - stay away - I don't want it. Life can be normal - rewarding - blissful, happy - without a Soulmate. I feel love - I know love -I am secure - safe -sheltered - cozy - Happy - I have secure love. This is enough for me.
